Firstly I would like to thank Lorcan at East Coast Barbell and everybody at Nutrition X for helping me beat all of the target I set out to meet. I am absolutely amazed that I managed to drop 26kgs in 12 weeks.
At first I found the training very hard but my fitness increased rapidly and soon I was looking forward to the daily training sessions.
I found the diet surprisingly easy to follow and I even looked forward to my Pro X shakes. The thing that amazed me most about the diet was that I never really got hungry or full. The guys at Nutrition X explained that I needed to completely change how I looked at food. Now I feed my body with the nutrients and fuel that it needs to keep going for a few hours and base my daily food intake around 5 – 6 small meals or shakes a day rather than 2 – 3 larger meals. It is also essential to have a base of protein at every meal.
The key to my success with the challenge was definetly preparation. I always had my food prepared in advance that way I was never stuck for meals and I never had to make bad food choices.
I would advise anybody that wants to get inshape to simply get out there and do it and not put it off until tomorrow.
